Quality control at ORTON Foundation

ORTON Foundation follows the principles of individualised service and client-centredness in all its activities. To turn these principles into reality, we must ensure that the quality of ORTON Foundation’s activities and services is reliable, but also undergoes constant development. The activities are developed by applying systematic quality control every day.

As ORTON provides a wide selection of services, the various units conduct quality management, quality evaluation and quality development with the tools that suit their activities best. Comprehensive quality manuals have been prepared to guide each unit’s activities. The quality manual of ORTON Orthopaedic Hospital is based on the King’s Fund audit, and the quality manuals of ORTON Rehabilitation and Keskuspuisto Vocational Institute are based on the EFQM European Excellence Award model.

Systematic collection and analysis of customer feedback is an important cornerstone of quality management.
